The Director of State Initiatives serves as the main point of contact for state governments seeking to initiate or enhance All Payer Claims Database (APCD) efforts. Plays a key role in shaping CIVHC’s strategy in assisting APCD efforts in multiple states. Focuses on building relationships and understanding the needs of states interested in using medical claims data to improve healthcare, lower healthcare costs, and improve the health of their populations. Understands each state’s unique needs, and develop product and service offerings to meet those needs. Work collaboratively with CIVHC’s executive team to develop a multi-state strategy that leverages CIVHC’s experience managing a best-in-class APCD.
