The American Health Information Management Association-Public Health Data Standards Council (AHIMA-PHDSC) Payer Typology Subcommittee will hold a Source of Payment Typology Coordination and Maintenance Meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. (Eastern). This meeting provides an opportunity for interested parties to request changes or additions to the Source of Payment Typology. The Source of Payment Typology is a payer type standard that provides a mechanism for consistent reporting of payer data to public health agencies for health care services and research. The Source of Payment Typology also provides a standard for use by those collecting data or analyzing health care information. It was created by the former PHDSC Payer Typology Subcommittee. Additional information about the Source of Payment Typology is available from the Committee’s home page at: http://www.phdsc.org/standards/payer-typology.asp.
Please register to attend the meeting and/or submit your suggested modifications by completing and submitting the Payer Typology Feedback form that is available at: http://www.phdsc.org/about/feedback.asp?cf=pt.
All comments will need to be submitted by Friday, March 18, 2016.
