Position Title: Program Manager
Reports To: VP Analytics and Data Operations
Job Classification: Exempt, Full-time
The Center for Improving Value in Health Care is a nonprofit organization committed to identifying and advancing initiatives across Colorado that enhance consumers’ health care experiences, contain costs and improve the health of Coloradans by creating an efficient, high quality and transparent health care system.
The Program Manager plays an integral role in the public release of health data related to CIVHC’s goals. The Program Manager will support and manage the data preview period prior to publicly posting comparative price and quality data as well as work with the Director of Communications to promote the availability of the website. Additional duties will include managing the Quality Assurance process for all publicly released data and non-public data releases.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage provider preview period from material development to distribution to support, and work with providers.
- Manage quality assurance process prior to public release of data on www.comedprice.org.
- Manage Colorado’s All-Payer Claims Database Master Provider Index system.
- Responsible for final review, branding and packaging of non-public data releases.
- Work collaboratively with the CIVHC team to maintain and achieve the mission and vision of CIVHC.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social or life sciences, statistics, public health, public policy or other field of study that required research and data analysis. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with health care performance measures, quality metrics, and value-based analysis.
- Professional experience in a role that required outreach and communication with health care providers.
- Experience in project management with established history of coordinating multiple projects involving a variety of stakeholders is preferred.
- Comfortable working in a results-oriented environment in which research and analysis need to align with time-sensitive change efforts.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal team members, statewide providers and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams in a congenial, dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- A high level of self-motivation, self-direction, and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to travel to and from meetings and appointments
