A new report that details the "state-of-the-art" of public reporting on hospitals, doctors, drug prices and health insurance options. The report was released by Honest Health (a CA based organization that works on health care transparency tools) and funded by the New York State Health Foundation.
The report is in two parts:
1)An Online Database that that provides details on 49 physician sites, 133 hospital sites, 18 prescription drug sites, and 36 insurance sites.
2) A report about the findings titled: "Advancing Health Care Transparency: A National Inventory of Tools to Guide State Policy". This report was written by staff at the Human Services Research Institute
