NAHDO Announces New Board of Directors for 2024

December 18, 2023 - NAHDO today announced the results of our annual election for Board of Directors, resulting in two new members of the board and six current members who will continue to serve. These impressive individuals have been chosen by NAHDO members to help guide the organization and our work representing our members. In addition board members provide expertise, networking and other resources that help promote the collection, analysis and dissemination of health data nationwide. 

The following individuals have been elected, re-elected, or appointed for 2024 to join nine other continuing board members that were not up for re-election:

Public Members

  • Kenley Money, Director of Information System Architecture, Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, Elected to serve a three-year term
  • Kyle Russell, CEO, Virginia Health Information, Elected to serve a three-year term
  • Kyra Morgan, Chief Biostatistician, State of Nevada, Elected to serve a three-year term (New board member)
  • Angela Taylor, Biomed Informatics Data Architect, State of Kentucky, Appointed to serve a one-year term

General or Corporate Members

  • Kevin McAvey, Director, Manatt, Elected to serve a three-year term
  • Tanya Bernstein, Executive Vice President, Freedman HealthCare, Elected to serve a three-year term
  • Sara Hallvik, Vice President of Data Solutions, Comagine Health, Elected to serve a one-year term (New board member)
  • Katie Martin, President and CEO, Health Care Cost Institute, Appointed to serve a one-year term

The shows how our member organizations are dedicated to working together to advance our common interest in promoting the use of health data for the public good," said Norm Thurston, NAHDO's Executive Director.
