Linda Green, Executive Vice President, Freedman Healthcare

Linda Green is a national expert on APCDs and has spent 30 years working closely with state and local governments to address complex public policy questions in health care delivery, data collection and analysis. At Freedman HealthCare, Ms. Green developed the firm’s APCD practice starting in 2010, which has since provided design, implementation, and operations support to over thirty states. As Executive Vice President, Ms. Green guides FHC’s team and its clients on matters related to state government policy and process, developing detailed approaches to complex topics, engaging subject matter experts and aligning topic-specific recommendations with the project goal. As the former Director of Health Data for the MA Division of Health Care Finance and Policy (now the Center for Health Information and Analysis), Ms. Green managed data collection and analysis for the MA APCD, Hospital Discharge Data, Emergency Room Data, household insurance and employer provided insurance surveys and quarterly key metrics updates. During her 13 years at Massachusetts Medicaid, Ms. Green served as director of managed care financials, responsible for the state’s $1.7B Medicaid Managed Care Program, including monthly payment calculations, rate setting and contract reconciliations.

Scott Becker is founder and publisher of Becker’s Hospital Review and Becker’s Healthcare, read by over 1 million viewers nationwide annually. Scott’s efforts through unbiased reporting of data and informative journalism for healthcare and healthcare integrity is unsurpassed in the social media platforms covering healthcare and all its stakeholders today. His continuous efforts to educate, inform and support the need for healthcare to remain politically neutral is paramount to healthcare’s sustainability along with his passion to ensure data integrity. Through his tireless efforts to educate and inform, he represents hospitals and health systems, healthcare companies, surgery center chains, large practices and private equity funds who all need and use reliable data to ensure continued high standards of healthcare delivery. He works with State agencies and government entities by assisting in disseminating critical information to the healthcare arena quickly and efficiently appreciated by all diverse groups. He creates an interactive communication channel that can use the data collected to make sound clinical judgement. Local, State and Federal agencies work with Scott on data dissemination through his writing and robust following that Scott has gathered due to his stellar reputation. Without Scott’s tireless efforts, data collected could not be effectively used and disseminated to all stakeholders to better the healthcare environment. His unbiased approach to reporting information is truly a model for all social media outlets to emulate. Becker’s was invaluable during the COVID crisis keeping all informed in an objective manner.
