NAHDO was awarded a three-year Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant, “State Health Care Quality Reporting: Increasing Consistency Across States”, beginning November 1, 2005. In response to numerous requests for technical assistance for quality measurement initiatives, NAHDO formed a Quality Reporting Workgroup and submitted a proposal to the RWJF to support the workgroup activities. Through this project NAHDO will facilitate cross-state exchange and assist states implement their quality reporting initiatives.
The NAHDO Quality Reporting Workgroup was formed to share state experiences and form guidances to help states advance their local reporting agendas. In partnership with the NAHDO Quality Reporting Workgroup and funding by RWJF, a toolkit of resources to help agencies plan, implement, and disseminate quality measurement reports will continue. This work will include becoming an active participant in the National Quality Forum and its advisory panels and committees, representing state interests and issues in quality measurement.
